Orsett Hall now has a fantastic opportunity for a Spa Supervisor to join and support the spa team within their state-of-the-art spa.
Orsett Hall is a 4-star hotel and perched on 12 acres of landscaped gardens in the Essex countryside, just 40 minutes outside Central London, and features boutique accommodation, superb dining, elegant function rooms, a gorgeous Chapel and a boutique spa. Our spa has a sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, relaxation room and swimming pool along with 7 treatment rooms (including a dual room). We offer a variety of spa days, treatments and overnight spa packages meaning there are a lot of guests through the doors every day.

Experience Required:
- NVQ Level 3 Beauty qualification or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of beauty experience
- Supervisory experience
- Experienced in working in a spa or Hotel spa environment
- Ideally, be ELEMIS trained, but this is not essential
Financial Performance
- To support driving the spa revenue and profit targets
- To deliver the key performance metrics (therapist utilization, room occupancy, retail % of sales, labour %, income per hour)
- To assist with the accuracy of all spa performance
- Support all costs within the business to maximize profit and sales conversion
- Maximise spa revenue and profit by delivering quality products and service
- Control of stock security and minimize loss via stock management systems, stock requisition procedures and stock count
- All Orsett Hall policies on cash, key and all controls are adhered to and followed consistently
Operational Standards
- Implement and maintain controls and procedures to ensure the highest standards, efficiencies and professional operations are in place within the spa
- Effectively supervise the therapist, reception teams and the treatment range offered by the spa
- Maintain data integrity of Trybe system, point of sale and spa scheduling systems
- Log and track all guest comments, providing timely responses to all comments
- Conduct all Orsett Hall Spa audits and check lists
- Prepare reports and provide performance information
- Deliver Treatments to Orsett Spa standards
Sales & Marketing
- Support with creating and the delivery of an effective sales and marketing calendar for the year, broken down into key promotional activities by month
- Utilise targets and commission structures to increase sales and profit
Training & Development
- Ensure all Therapists are trained effectively to meet the required standards of the H&B industry, inclusive of hotel training requirements
- Develop both formal and informal communication channels between the spa team, hotel reception, and food and beverage outlets
- Ensure performance targets and incentive structures are in place
- Ensure succession planning is active within the department and provide on-going development programmes for Therapists
- Assist in effective induction, review and development plans with the therapist and reception teams
Health and Safety
- Proactively support the Health and Safety Policy of the Hotel in conjunction with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 Ensure compliance to (COSHH) Regulations 1988 and maintain your department COSHH Register.
- Comply with the Fire Safety Policy of the hotel
- Ensure safe working practices are adhered to and Risk Assessments completed
Other
- Reactive response to changing customer demands, providing suggestions for improvement
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts in line with the needs of the business
- Pool plant trained
- Performs other related tasks as assigned by management
The package on Offer:
- Basic Salary: £24,000.00 – £26,000.00
