The Opportunity

The Spa Housekeeper – Executive is a senior role, ensuring the highest levels of housekeeping, hygiene, and presentation throughout the spa. This is not a cleaning position but a specialist leadership role, suited to candidates with luxury housekeeping experience in spas, hotels, or resorts.

Key Experience Required: 

• Manages staff uniforms and inventory with accuracy and care
• Performs detailed SOP inspections to ensure luxury spa standards
• Expert in laundry operations, presentation, and hygiene compliance

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily housekeeping standards across treatment rooms, hydrotherapy areas, lounges, and back-of-house facilities.
  • Inspect overnight cleaning results and ensure SOPs are followed.
  • Manage linen, laundry, and uniform operations.
  • Maintain cleaning supplies and inventory with precision.
  • Liaise with Spa Butlers, therapists, and the laundry team.
  • Lead pre-opening readiness and uphold hygiene, safety, and compliance standards.
  • Tailored Demands: While this is a high-level, luxury role, it differs from large hotel or resort housekeeping.  There are no overnight guests, no bedrooms, and a smaller, focused team, making the environment less complex and more specialised than a full-scale hotel operation.

Candidate Profile

  • 3–5 years in an Executive or Supervisory Housekeeping role within a luxury spa, hotel, or resort.
  • Strong background in linen and laundry operations.
  • Experience with pre-opening and spa set-up.
  • Excellent communication in English (written and spoken).
  • Highly organised, discreet, and detail-focused.

  • Base Salary: USD $36,000 per annum
